Normal wear and tear — surface smoothing, minor marks, and slower absorbency that the sanding tool restores — plus staining, damage from drops or impacts, sealants and harsh chemicals, and commercial use. Trade and hospitality orders have their own replacement terms.

Rinse with plain warm water every few weeks — never soap, which clogs the pores. Every 1–3 months, buff the dry surface for 30 seconds with the included sanding tool to restore full absorbency. That's the whole routine.

Blot oily spills (lotion, makeup, body oils) when they happen. For a set-in mark, a few light circles with the sanding tool lift the stained surface layer. It's stone — you refresh it, you don't replace it.
